My second tattoo (taken right after it was done)

The first time I read this quote, I teared up and got chills. Since I was a kid I’ve dealt with debilitating anxiety and EVERYTHING I’m afraid of is in my head and the only thing that holds me back is myself. I got this tattoo done so I can have a visual reminder that I will be okay.

That was my 1st tattoo, done almost a year ago and it has a lot of meaning behind.
I like to think that everybody has good and bad days but it’s up to you to make it work. It’s my everyday inspiration.

This is exactly what happens when I tell patients that I am going to do a cardiac physical exam on them. Their hearts jump and flutter with excitement and for attention.
Or at least, that is what I imagine they would do if they could.
